if you want to see a movie, this site is pretty popular, so chances are you should stay up for when they first go online. it would be nice it if was midnight but its usually 1am est. this movie didnt sell out as fast b/c its not a big blockbuster so i managed to get tickets the next day. I did release the tickets later though after seeing the trailer. so either try to get them right when they come online or hope that someone cant go and releases their ticket.

Watch it with your teen!
Realistic view of high school: Even the class royalty has drama! I expected this to be on the shallow side and was pleasantly surprised. I think the "documentary" quality gave it an edgy feel.

80's movie classics, but real
This movie was the perfect blend of "The Breakfast Club", "Pretty in Pink" and what high school is really like.

American Teen-love it
American Teen provided a good peak of Teen's mindset through several Seniors in a high school. It provided grown-ups a reference to reach out and teens ad younger to see what may come ahead.

I really liked this movie....thought it was very realistic. Didn't like how Mitch broke up with Hannah though...

American Teen
I took my 16 year old daughter and two of her friends and we had an awesome time. This movie was a great way for other teens to view the lives of all the different clicks in school.

American Teen
the worst movie ever made. Walked out along with half the theatre after 20 minutes. It's a documentary, no movie, no story, BORING.dont waste your $ or time

It's not really a movie, but it is a documentary. I thought it was okay, teens will like it.

American Teen
Great movie, finely crafted. The teens are captivatingly flawed and struggling towards adulthood.I liked the animations best of all-surreal, fantastical but sophisticated

Tame
Tame is the best word I can think of after seeing this documentary. Even tame for having graduated over 10 years ago from a school w/mostly, white, middle-class, suburban students. Don't get me wrong, it was well done w/interesting artistic spots of the thoughts of the students. There is just so much more going on in schools these days & in the minds of teens that was untouched. Parts here & there seemed set up also just by what was said & where cameras were. It still left me with a good feeling for all of them, especially @ the end.
